Portland and baseball used to go hand and hand. The history started in 1886 with the Pioneer Baseball Club and went strong until September 6th, 2010 when the Beavers played their last game in Portland in front of a sold out stadium. There has not been a professional game in the city that loves the sport since.

The Portland Diamond Project is a non-profit set up to bring a MLB team to Stumptown. They came to Kamp Grizzly to get preliminary brand design and presentation support.
